During El Niño, the ocean water becomes very warm. Long ago, fishers from Spain named it. In Spanish, El Niño means little boy. This year, the water is much hotter than usual. That is why it is called a super El Niño. This warm water changes weather everywhere. Some places will be very hot in November and December. Other places will have a lot of rain.
